Instructions for Registration and Submission of Articles
English Guidelines for Writing Articles for
The first International Conference on Resistance Theology
A) The submitted article must include all of the following:
1. Article title
2. Name and email address of the author(s)
3. Persian abstract: The abstract should be between 300 to 500 words and include the main objectives of the article, method, and the most important research findings. Keywords (minimum 3 and maximum 7 words) should follow the abstract.
4. Full text of the article in Persian (introduction, body, conclusion) (maximum 7000 words)
5. List of references
6. Appendices (if necessary)
B) Adherence to the "Persian Orthography Rules" approved by the Academy of Persian Language and Literature (accessible on the Academy's website).
C) The Latin form of proper names, technical terms, and foreign compounds should be included in the footnotes with a number reference.
D) References to sources, containing minimum sufficient information, should appear immediately after the quoted material or reference to it within the text and between two parentheses ( ).
1. Minimum information refers to the author's name, volume number, and page number of the source or its common code; example: (Shahid Thani, 2/11-12; Mufid, 87)
2. For Latin sources, information inside parentheses should be written in the original language; example: (Gadamer, 85)
3. If multiple works by one author are cited, it is necessary to resolve ambiguity by including the well-known name of the work after the author's name in each case; example: (Shahid Awwal, Lum'ah, 22; idem, Durus, 2: 30)
4. Explanatory notes including further explanations that the author deems necessary should be included as footnotes on the same page with a number reference. If a source is referenced or cited in the notes, the same in-text citation method is followed.
E) It is necessary that the list of references be arranged alphabetically by the authors' surnames or most well-known names (in accordance with the documentation of Iranian celebrities or the National Library catalog) at the end of the article.
Bibliographic elements for articles, books, reports, and other references are as follows:
1. Articles: Author's name, full article title (in quotation marks), journal or collection of articles name (in Iranic or italic letters), volume or period, number, publication year, start and end page numbers of the article.
2. Books: Author's name, book title (in italic), translator or editor's name, edition number, publisher's name, place of publication, year of publication.
3. Reports and other references: Sufficient and complete information should be provided.
F) To ensure impartial review principles, it is emphasized that nowhere in the article (except the first page according to the writing template) should there be any content that identifies the author or one of the authors of the article. Indication of academic rank and affiliated organization, mention of the article being extracted from a master's or doctoral thesis of researchers, acknowledgments to those who have cooperated and guided, and similar explanations if necessary and desired, as well as identifying one of the authors as the corresponding author in case of multiple authors, should all be in the footnote of the first page of the article.
G) Submitted articles should not have been previously published or presented elsewhere.
H) The conference secretariat is free to select and edit articles (without interfering with their scientific content).
I) If you do not receive an electronic receipt of your article to your email within 48 hours after submission, please follow up by calling 05138803883.
J) Received articles, if complying with scientific standards and writing template, will be immediately sent for review. The result of the article review and requested revisions will be communicated to the responsible author via email as soon as received.
The author's name should be written without the title Dr. or other titles and designations under the article title, and in the footnote, the author's precise information should be written in the following format:
Surname, Name, Academic Rank, Position and Name of Organization or University of Service, Email, [and if desired: Address and Phone or Fax Number]
In case of multiple authors, second and subsequent names should be written in order of priority in the next lines below each other. To facilitate communication between the secretariat and other interested parties with the article authors, one person from the list of authors should be introduced as the corresponding author in the footnote.
